The Weatherill Labor Government needs to tell South Australians where it is going to store patient records, given that they can’t be stored at the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Yesterday an internal memorandum from SA Health confirmed that due to the lack of storage capacity at the nRAH, patient Medical Records and Departmental Records will need to be stored at an off-site repository.
“South Australians are faced with this ridiculous situation due to the Weatherill Labor Government’s incompetence,” said Deputy State Liberal Leader Vickie Chapman.
“I don’t think there would be another brand new hospital anywhere in the world that is physically incapable of holding filing cabinets.
“The Weatherill Labor Government must immediately identify where the records will be stored and if this will impact patient care.”
